2019 Honda Ridgeline

<p>For the 2019 model year, the Honda Ridgeline comes in six trim levels: RT, Sport, RTL, RTL-T, RTL-E, and Black Edition. The entry-level RT starts off with automatic halogen headlamps, a dual-action tailgate that opens out or down, an in-bed trunk for hiding valuables or creating an ice chest, 18-inch silver-painted alloy wheels, truck-bed lights, power side mirrors, and rear privacy glass.</p> <p>The Sport version adds on fog lights and 18-inch gray-painted alloy wheels, while the RTL gets exclusive 18-inch wheels, heated power outside mirrors, a one-touch power moonroof, and a power sliding rear window. On the RTL-T trim, the Ridgeline features its own set of 18-inch wheels. Go for the RTL-E, and you'll get LED truck-bed lights, chrome accents, automatic LED headlights, and a 150/400-watt truck-bed power outlet. Black 18-inch alloy wheels are the lone exclusive feature of the Black Edition.</p> <p>You can choose from seven colors for your Ridgeline: Modern Steel, White Diamond, Lunar Silver, Crystal Black, Obsidian Blue, Deep Scarlet, and Forest Mist.</p>

All six trims receive a 3.5-liter V-6 that churns out 280 horsepower and up to 262 pound-feet of torque. This engine pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission and class-exclusive front-wheel drive to provide traction and torque when you need it most. It also allows the Ridgeline to blast off from zero to 60 mph in a mere 6.9 seconds with a top speed of 112 mph. All-wheel drive is optional.

A 5.3-foot bed is shorter than some other trucks. However, Honda paired it with a unibody construction that is seen almost solely on cars, combining the best of both worlds. The V-6 engine also affords a nice blend of efficiency and power, offering a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.

Thanks to the Ridgeline's unibody construction, the truck rides smoothly and has the feel of a car for both drivers and passengers. The cabin has standard features such as a push-button start, cruise control, 12-volt power outlets, Bluetooth, and a 200-watt, seven-speaker audio system with a subwoofer. Upper trims provide a truck-bed audio system, a 540-watt premium sound system, navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch touch-screen display, leather-trimmed seating, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

With a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the 2019 Honda Ridgeline is one of only four trucks to garner the organization's highest honor. The upper trims of the Ridgeline hang their hat on an array of driver-assist safety features that include lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, a cross-traffic monitor, a blind spot information system, and Honda LaneWatch.
