When driving a smaller vehicle like a sedan, coupe or hatchback, it’s not uncommon to feel inadequate, or even unsafe next to larger trucks, SUVs, and crossovers. However, according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, there is no real need for concern. They recently conducted a study to determine how often people die when in crashes with SUVs and Pickups. Researchers were happy to find that largely due to design changes in both larger and smaller vehicles, the two groups are more compatible on the road. Take a moment to check out the interview with the Chief Administrative Officer of the IIHS, Joe Nolan, to learn more details.
Then of course, take a trip into Clinton Honda for a test drive in any of our car, truck or SUV models, knowing you’ll be safe no matter which model you chose!
