Back in September, Honda made quite the statement when it debuted its two-minute spot “Paper”. This unique advertisement took viewers on a journey through the history of the Honda brand beginning from the very first bicycle created by the brand’s founder all the way up until the innovative vehicles of today. What made this spot, even more, unique, however, was that the story was told through a series of hand-drawn illustrations created by numerous artists that all flow seamlessly together to share Honda’s journey.
Recently, “Paper” received, even more, attention for its creative approach with an award from One Show. The company presents their One Show Awards during their Automobile Advertising of the Year Awards ceremony that is held each year at the North American International Auto Show. The awards recognize companies who have had outstanding global market strategies and advertisements. For this year, “Paper” was awarded in the 2016 Broadcast Television category.
