Built-In Vacuum Cleaner - Unfortunately, the “Dad Bod” trend is so last year and you promised yourself you’d stop swinging by McDonald’s on your lunch break. But being Dad of the Year sometimes involves spoiling the kids with some Mickey D’s french fries. When they happen to spill a few, and you know they will, the HondaVac in the 2016 Honda Odyssey has got your back. Leave no fry behind and hide the evidence before you get home. Mom will never know! Conversation Mirror - Your kids grew up thinking you had eyes in the back of your head, and with the Conversation Mirror in the 2016 Honda CR-V, you can keep it that way! The roof-mounted mirror gives you an extra wide-angle view, so you can stay on top of every eye roll and monitor horseplay in the back seat without your eyes leaving the road. Power Liftgate - You’re a man, Dad. And being a man means grabbing every possible grocery bag at once to avoid making more than one trip. We understand, that’s why we’ve built the Power Tailgate on the 2016 Honda Pilot. Simply press a button to open and close the tailgate, so you can get back to doing what you do best: grocery hauling. EPA Releases MPG For 2017 Honda Ridgeline
Although we will not see it arrive on our lot until sometime this summer, the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is quite the hot topic! This redesigned midsize pickup has gotten people talking over its excitability, entertainability, and yes, efficiency! The Environmental Protection Agency has recently released the official fuel-efficiency estimates for the new Ridgeline, and it was given an impressive EPA estimated mpg of 19 city/26 highway/22 combined* when equipped with Front-Wheel Drive and a 3.5 Liter V6 Engine. This marks a 5 mpg increase from the last generation of the Ridgeline, which allows it to stay competitive in its segment. Four-Wheel Drive only causes the estimate to drop to 18/25/21 mpg, still beating out trucks like the Chevy Colorado and Toyota Tacoma. Clinton Honda is looking forward to the arrival of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline and we are such our customers near Annandale, Clinton, Somerville, NJ; and Easton, PA are too. 2017 Honda Ridgeline is the MPG Champ
Those brave enough to drive a truck these days are used to hearing the term Gas Guzzler, meaning you might pay more for gas in a month than you do on utilities. But those days could be over thanks to the mold-breaking 2017 Honda Ridgeline. This truck was designed for those who would like to be able to drive a pickup as their everyday vehicle and not break the bank while doing so. According to EPA, the 2017 Ridgeline will reach 19 mpg city, 26 highway and 22 combined*. Even if you decide to move up to all-wheel drive, you’ll only lose 1 mpg in each category. In comparison to other trucks in its class, there’s no competition with 17-18 mpg city and 23-24 highway. Keep an eye here on the Clinton Honda blog, we will let you know when we have more information on the 2017 Ridgeline and when it’s available on our lot. *19 city/26 highway/22 combined mpg rating for 2WD models. 18 city/25 highway/21 combined mpg rating for AWD models. Honda has announced that the all-new 2016 Honda Civic Coupe will be released on March 15, 2016! With the release of this highly-anticipated new vehicle only a few days away we would like to take a look back at the very first Civic Coupe which was released back in 1993. Therefore, we are going to share the MotorWeek Retro Review that features the first-ever Civic Coupe. When the Coupe was first released the Honda Civic was already a very popular model amongst American consumers having gained a reputation for being safe, reliable, efficient, and fun. Therefore, when the Coup was introduced into the market it brought all those same factors but upped its game in the style with its sleek two-door design earning recognition from John Davis as “The smartest looking small Honda ever”. Overall, MotorWeek was quite impressed with the 1993 Honda Civic Coupe specifically noting its smooth highway handling, cargo space, comfort, performance, fuel economy, and interior noise level. Hear more details in the video below.
MotorWeek Features 1997 Honda CR-V on Retro Review
A recent episode of MotorWeek’s Retro Review featured the class changing 1997 Honda CR-V. While it’s hard to imagine the SUV market without the CR-V, there was a time when Honda was slow to join the emerging SUV craze in the 90’s. But once the world was introduced to this “Comfortable Runabout Vehicle,” it quickly became a widespread success. In the Retro Review, MotorWeek marveled at the fuel efficiency of the CR-V, remarking that is was able to deliver a car based fuel economy. And unlike other SUVs, the CR-V offered a “civilized ride and stable handling.” Its features were mostly inspired by the successful Civic sedan, including double wishbone suspension and excellent interior ergonomics. The 16-Valve 2.0 Liter Inline Four-Cylinder Engine in the 1997 Honda CR-V turned out a respectable 126 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque. Oh, and did we mention there’s a transportable picnic table included? Gotta love the 90’s. See all the features in the video below! "MotorWeek | Retro Review: 1997 Honda CR-V." YouTube. YouTube, n.d. Honda FCV Concept Only Emits Water
Each year we look forward to the new and innovative concept models that Honda is going to release in the coming months. One of the most exciting new models is the FCV Concept. This uses hydrogen and oxygen to create electricity to move the vehicle. The most interesting part about the FCV Concept might just be that the only sort of emissions that are produced is water. With a short 3-5 minute refueling time and a range of over 300 miles, Honda has really figured out on how to address the fears consumers have about becoming stranded due to a dead battery. The Honda FCV is mostly exciting because these are the types of vehicles we look forward to driving in the future. Models like this one will allow us to get where we need to go in a more efficient manner while keeping everyone in the vehicle safe and comfortable. Source: http://automobiles.honda.com/honda-fcv/
