Honda has announced that two of the brand’s best-selling models have received AutoPacific 2015 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA) in their individual segments. The two award-winning Honda models were the 2015 Honda Fit and the 2015 Honda CR-V.
Each year, the recipients of the AutoPacific VSAs are chosen based on customer responses to a survey put out by AutoPacific. A total exceeding 66,000 new vehicle owners participated in this year’s survey answering questions regarding their satisfaction with their new vehicle based on 50 different vehicle attributes.
“These two models represent Honda’s core and growth segments, and we’re gratified to know that our customers are satisfied with their purchases,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of Honda automobile division at American Honda. “Honda’s products are created by passionate engineers who take joy in producing the highest quality automobiles, and AutoPacific’s awards validate that enthusiasm, as well as tell us how well regarded the CR-V and Fit are in the industry.”

2016 Honda Pilot Featured In New Campaign From Honda
Honda recently launched a new marketing campaign centered around the all-new 2016 Honda Pilot. This new campaign will feature a mixture of Print, Digital and Television advertisements that will focus on the impressive new capabilities, versatility and premium features that are all available on this impressive new model. To start the new campaign, the brand released two new TV spots that are also available on their Youtube page. These spots are called “The Incredible Elite” and “Even Better”.
“The Incredible Elite” is the centerpiece to the entire campaign as it creatively showcases some of the most impressive elements of the 2016 model. Through this advertisement, we see the 2016 Honda Pilot drive through a number of common situations in a simulator and in each situation, one of the model’s premium features is used to work through it.
The Incredible Elite:
“Even Better” is a companion spot, designed to show the impressive seating and storage capabilities of the 2016 Honda Pilot, while also showing how it is the ideal vehicle for families. In the spot, a family piles into their 2016 Pilot to head home from a day trip and the silence in the vehicle is broken when they begin singing the Weezer song “Buddy Holly”. The choice of song was made in order to create a spot that would be memorable and resonate with parents and kids alike.

“The campaign leverages the Pilot’s strengths with two impactful spots, showing that the Pilot is ‘Ready for Anything.’ With its all-new styling, premium technology, and adaptability, it’s the perfect vehicle for everyone,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of the Honda Automobile Division of American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
During last month, the Honda Division’s sales reached an impressive 118,870 units, surpassing sales from June 2014 by 0.9%. In terms of year-over-year sales, American Honda Motor Co., has reported that for the first half of this year the brand’s sales have reached 665,914 units.
“With the introduction of the 2016 Pilot late last month, our SUV lineup is the strongest it has ever been, and it was already in very good shape,” said Jeff Conrad, Honda Division senior vice president and general manager. “The next several months will be exciting as we begin to renew and expand our car lineup.”
June Sales Highlights:
- Sales of the Odyssey increased by 2.2% with 11,621 units
- Sales of the Fit increased 21% with 4,669 units
- Sales of the Pilot reached 9,093 units
- Sales of the Accord reached 27,477 units
- Sales of the CR-V increased by 4.2% with 28,349 units
- Sales of the Civic reached 28,727 units
- Sales of the HR-V reached 7,760 units
- Sales of the Crosstour increased by 19% 837 units

2016 Honda Pilot Featured In New Advertisement
A new 30-second television spot has been released by Honda featuring the all-new 2016 Honda Pilot. This new commercial highlights some of the impressive standard features that can be found on this model that truly bring traveling in the Honda Pilot until the next level. A few of the features showcased in this spot include the multi-angle rearview camera and Bluetooth® streaming audio.

Clean the Odyssey
Head over to Honda’s website to play their latest game “Vac the Odyssey”. The Honda Odyssey can seat up to eight people who can sometimes leave quite the mess.
